You will respond to weekly topic questions in the discussion board. The discussion boards will be on topics in today’s business news. You’re expected to thoughtfully think through how things happening in the world effect what will be happening in your future and current workplaces. You must post your ideas and respond to the other students’ posting during that week. Initial posts will be 15 pts possible, responses 10 pts possible.

AI-related posts will be removed with a 0. Posts a well-developed response that addresses all aspects of the task. Concepts are fully developed and perhaps additional questions are posed. Demonstrates critical analysis of the topic.
Posts information that is factually correct, reflective and substantive contribution. The response advances the discussion.
Uses references to literature, readings, or personal experience to enrich and support comments made in responses.

Analytical: People with a C personality type are skilled at analyzing complex information and identifying patterns or trends. They are logical thinkers who enjoy problem-solving and can often develop innovative solutions to challenges.
Systematic: Individuals with a C personality type approach tasks in a methodical and organized manner. They are adept at creating and maintaining systems and processes to ensure efficiency and consistency in their work.
Quality-focused: C-types prioritize quality and excellence in their tasks, often holding themselves and others to high standards. They are driven by a desire to produce accurate, reliable, and high-quality outcomes.
Cautious: People with a C personality type are typically cautious and deliberate in their decision-making. They carefully consider the potential consequences of their actions and prefer to gather sufficient information before making choices.
Independent: C-types are self-sufficient and prefer to work independently when possible. They are comfortable with autonomy and can effectively manage their own tasks and responsibilities.
While the C personality type has many strengths, they can also face challenges when it comes to flexibility and interpersonal relationships. They may struggle with adapting to change or embracing new ideas, as they tend to prefer familiar processes and established routines. Additionally, their strong focus on details and perfectionism may hinder their ability to connect with others, as they can come across as overly critical or demanding.

Weekly Write Up Guidelines: Each week you will write up a 1.5 page paper (12 pt font, double spaced, 1 inch margins), reflecting on an assigned podcast, documentary, article, etc. The reflection should be about what you took away from the material and how it relates to your relationship to work.
This class is about developing ourselves as leaders, and thinking about the types of organizations we would like to be a part of, our contribution to them, and how we can help make work a more meaningful place.
In this assignment, you will substantiate your position by researching and sharing at least two resource hyperlinks (textbook, news article, blog post, other research) which substantiate your response. Your responses will focus on relating concepts to the business sector that you have decided to focus on by highlighting relevant and timely examples from real-world organizations. There will be a total of 7 possible responses (maximum of 50 points each).
Each individual will submit one response and be prepared to discuss their response in-class during the following meeting. Your grade will be based on:
clarity of your writing
external citations
quality of connections made between your writing and selected references
critical thinking skills shown
