“Strategic Planning and Development Presentation for XYZ Healthcare Organization” Slide 1: Cover Slide Title: Strategic Planning and Development Presentation for XYZ Healthcare Organization Name: [Your Name] Course Number and Title: [Course Number and Title] Professor’s

    ย
    Introduction
Building on the Strategic Planning and Development assignment from Week 3, prepare a 10-slide Microsoft PowerPoint presentation, with narration, of your plan to present to the executive committee.
In this assignment, use the health care organization you selected in your Week 3 assignment. Determine why you are embarking on this strategic planning process (securing funding, establishing and focusing on organizational priorities, et cetera). In this presentation:
Establish a clear vision for the strategic planning process.
Paint a picture of where your organization will be going and of your desired outcomes.
Ensure the picture is reality;ย  not just what you or your executive committee may want to have.
Make certain the strategic plan allows employees to know why the organization is changing.
    Assignment Format
Your 10-slide PowerPoint presentation should follow this format:
    Slide 1: Cover Slide
Include the title of your presentation, your name, the course number and course title, your professor’s name, the university’s name, and the date.
    Slide 2: Background/Executive Summary
The title of this slide should be Executive Summary.
Describe the details of the situation.
    Use bullets with short phrases.
    Slide 3: Thesis Statement
The title of this slide should be Thesis Statement.
Identify the focus of your research.
    Slides 4-9: Support
Support your thesis statement following the SESC formula: state, explain, support, and conclude. (Use Sublevel 1 and 2 Headings to provide coherence and organization.)
Provide in-text citations using the format in the Strayer Writing Standards.
Slides should be concise – basically no more than seven bullets per slide and no more than seven words per bullet.
Most information in a PowerPoint presentation should be contained within the notes section.
    Slide 10: References
Locate at least three peer-reviewed journal articles to support your work. For example, to identify the clinical quality that does not compare to other hospitals, see the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Hospital CompareLinks to an external site. site.
Use the Strayer Writing Standards format for your references.
Note: Refer to the instructions and PowerPoint resources in the Week 5 Assignment Preparation for support in completing this assignment.
This course requires the use of Strayer Writing Standards (SWS). The library is your home for SWS assistance, including citations and formatting. Please refer to the Library site for all support. Check with your professor for any additional instructions.
    Assignment Instructions
Your presentation must include all of the elements listed below, so be sure to address each point. You may also want to review the performance-level descriptions for each criterion in the scoring guide to see how your work will be assessed:
Determine why you are embarking on this strategic planning process.
Analyze the differences between strategic management, strategic thinking, strategic planning, and managing strategic momentum.
Justify the analytical tool that will be the most effective in helping the organization achieve its strategic plan; support the proposal with an example of how it will be used.
Examine the three internal and three external factors that you discovered during your research that could be barriers to the success of your proposed strategic plan; discuss solutions to each of the barriers.
Examine the most effective manner of reaching the specific segments of the market that your organization’s strategic plan will target.
Evaluate how well the strategic plan you have developed aligns with the organization’s mission and vision. Recommend at least one solution to track the effectiveness of your strategic plan.
Use at least three quality academic resources.

“The Outsider-Activist: Exploring Virginia Woolf’s Three Guineas and its Relevance Today”

    Response
At the very end of Three Guineas, an essay about whether or not to donate money to various causes, Virginia Woolf says the following: โ€œWe can best help you to prevent war not by joining your society but by remaining outside your society but in cooperation with its aimโ€ (170). This idea of being an outsider-activist is important for Woolfโ€”at one point she speaks of creating an โ€œOutsiderโ€™s Societyโ€ even (126)โ€”but just what does she mean by this notion? Why should women remain outsiders? And outside of what, exactly, should they stand? In addressing these questions, I wonder if you might also be able to explain another quotation from the end of Woolfโ€™s book, which you can find on page 168: โ€œthe public and the private worlds are inseparably connected,โ€ Woolf writes, and โ€œthe tyrannies and servilities of the one are the tyrannies and servilities of the other.โ€ Three Guineas addresses education and employment, feminism and pacificism. But how are all of these things related? Did the nurses of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade described in Patai’s article think the way Woolf did? Last but not least, I would be particularly interested to hear if you think Woolfโ€™s or Patai’s texts are relevant today, as we witness a resurgence of right-wing extremism, anti-feminist politics, and virulent militarism. Do these texts help us to understand not just the past but also, perhaps, the present? Does Woolf suggest a way to be both a feminist and a pacifist at the same time today

“Conserving Our National Wildlife Refuge: A Comprehensive Review and Analysis of Management Strategies”

Using your previously selected National Wildlife Refuge’s Comprehensive Conservation Plan, create a PowerPoint presentation (other formats by Instructor permission only) of approximately 25-35 slides with the primary goals of:
Describing the site using the grading criteria at the bottom of this page
    Describing the CCP itself
Critiquing and analyzing the plan using information gathered from peer-reviewed primary scientific literature, government reports, and course materials. The vast majority of your points on this project come from the critique and analysis. Critique and analysis means that you look at each type of management being done at your site and evaluated it in light of peer-reviewed primary scientific research and course materials. You will use your Assignments 1-3 to aid your creation of this part of the presentation. You should have 5-10+ sources and you must also cite them on each slide (APA style) and on one of your final slides, which should be a References slide. Your references should include our textbook and your management plan as well as the 5 peer-reviewed primary scientific papers from Assignment 3, government and NGO reports, and other appropriately scholarly material. Don’t forget that you must cite the sources of your images as well as your data/information. Important Submission Instructions: Title your file in this way: Smith_EVSP413FinalProject.pptx and attach the PowerPoint File here in this Assignment area (any other format should be submitted as .pdf).
Turnitin will run automatically. It will return to you (after time for processing) a percentage which tells you the similarity of your work to that of others (or your own previous work) regardless if cited properly. Greater than about 30% of properly cited similarity means that less than 3/4 of the work you are submitting is your own which isn’t enough for your Instructor to assess your understanding of the material. You may edit your presentation and resubmit as many times as you necessary to address any issues you find.
    Final Project Grading Criteria
    1) Introduction to the Refuge (10 points – see breakdown below)
1a: formation history such as when the site was established and under what conditions (5 points)
1b: location information, including a map (2.5 points)
1c: important land use and other historical or traditional use information (2.5 points)
    2) Comprehensive Conservation Plan overview (20 points – see breakdown below)
2a: history of the plan including type, date accepted, date(s) revised, etc. (5 points)
    2b: management philosophy (5 points)
    2c: primary management issues/problems (5 points)
    2d: products extracted/used (5 points)
    3) A critical evaluation of management plan, incorporating course topics and scientific evidence (30 points)
    4) Appropriate type and number of sources, properly cited within the writing and at the end of the essay (20 points)
    6) Mechanics: organization, length, writing style, grammar, spelling, etc. (10 points)
    7) Presentation style & effectiveness (10 points)

Title: Strategic Planning in SV2030: An Analysis of its Elements and Success Measures Introduction Strategic planning is a crucial process for any organization, as it sets the direction and goals for the future. In the case of SV2030

    Strategy Planning (100 points)
Review SV2030 and relate the strategic plan to the four common elements in successful strategy planning. For each element, analyze if the element meets the criteria. Clear, consistent long-term goals
Profound understanding of the competitive environment
    Objective appraisal of resources
    Effective Implementation
After analyzing SV2030 consider how to measure success. Which two of the six performance measures do you think are the most useful indicators of how the transformation is measured? Is the transformation successful?
Your well-written paper should meet the following requirements:
Be 4 to 5 pages in length, which does not include the required title and reference pages, which are never a part of the content minimum requirements. Use Saudi Electronic University academic writing standards and APA style guidelines.
Support your submission with course material concepts, principles, and theories from the textbook and at least two scholarly, peer-reviewed journal articles unless the assignment calls for more.
It is strongly encouraged that you submit all assignments into the Turnitin Originality Check before submitting it to your instructor for grading. If you are unsure how to submit an assignment into the Originality Check tool, review the Turnitin Originality Checkโ€”Student Guide for step-by-step instructions.
Review the grading rubric to see how you will be graded for this assignment.

After viewing Dr. Flemingโ€™s video and completing this weekโ€™s readings, create a visual illustration of the elements of your own identity. Your visual should include both your personal identities and your group/social identities and should be a comprehensive list of the various elements of your identity. How you choose the separate your core identities from those that are farther from the center is up to you. The illustration can be as plain or as colorful and creative as you like. If you create your illustration by hand, be sure to scan/photograph it and include it with your paper. Save your illustration as a jpeg and include it with your reflection paper. This section does not count toward your total word count for this assignment.

In addition to creating your identity illustration, address the following prompts:
    Introduction
What are the 4-5 most important (core) elements of your identity?
Where and how were each of these aspects of your identity formed?
Think of the last time that one or more of these identities were threatened. (The focus here should be on a threat that came through the words or actions of another person or other people, not internal battles you might have experienced within yourself.)
    How did you respond?
Northrup (1989) believes that conflicts that threaten or are perceived as threatening to our core concepts of self very often result in intractable conflicts. How does your example support or refute this belief?
In your opinion, why does identity have such a major impact on a personโ€™s response to conflict? Support your view with information from the course, the textbooks, or other academic material.
In your opinion, how does your identity impact your personal conflict style that you discovered in Module 1?
Think about your personal reaction to conflict in light of what Shapiro called the repetition compulsion. Respond to the following questions adapted from p. 65:
What recurrently dysfunctional pattern(s) do you exhibit in conflict? (We all have them!)
At the moment when this pattern occurs, what is threatening your identity? Be specific and introspective in your explanation.
Which of the common issues listed on p. 66 lure you into the repetition compulsion? Is it something else? Why do you think these things pull you in?
Conflict is almost never one-sided, and the ability and willingness to own your own contribution to a conflict is indicative of an increasing level of emotional intelligence (which we will discuss in the next module). With that in mind, think back to a recent conflict in which you were personally involved. How did your own words and actions contribute to the escalation of this conflict? Provide specific evidence of words that you said and/or actions that you took that made the conflict more difficult for everyone involved.
Consider a long-standing conflict with which you are personally familiar. It should be one in which you are personally involved if possible, or at least one with which you are very familiar with the parties and the details. Synthesizing the material from Northrup and Shapiroโ€™s section on the sacred and any other academic material you find appropriate, analyze the conflict in terms of its intractability and the sacred.
What do each of the parties hold sacred that is threatened by this conflict?
Is it possible for the parties to disentangle the sacred from the secular (Shapiro, pp. 105-107)? Explain.
    Is this conflict intractable? Explain.
    Conclusion

    Paper Specs
Create a cover page with your name, course number, assignment title, word count, and date.
    Paper should be 2200 โ€“ 2400 words.
Do not include cover page, headings, quotes, or references in your word count.
Include a subheading for each rubric line. Do not combine multiple rubric lines under a single heading.
All required sources in this module, including textbooks, provided pdfs, linked webpages, and course pages and/or videos should be used to support your thoughts, ideas, conclusions, etc., that you present throughout this paper. Recommended sources and sources from previous modules should also be used when appropriate.
A minimum of seven sources should be cited and referenced. Outstanding papers will use more than the required minimum number of sources.
Do not quote your sources. Paraphrase, cite, and reference using APA format.
    Double-space your paper.
Use 12-point Times New Roman font.
