Micro: “Sexually Transmitted Virus and Protecting Against It” Critical Reasoning: “Debunking Popular Beliefs and Fads: Podcast Analysis” Analyzing the Argument Against Vaccines and Autism Link in “Debunking Anti-Vaccine Myths”

this is for 2 different classes. The first question is for micro, and the second is critical reasoning. please make it short and simple and use simple wording when writing. don’t use ai teacher will check.
1-Fifteen-year-old Dolores was embarrassed to talk with her mother about the pain she felt in her “private parts,” but she was worried she might have gotten a disease, despite Nick’s assurance that she was his “first.” Her mother insisted that Dolores see a doctor, who discovered cervical lesions caused by a virus associated with cancer.
What sexually transmitted virus is involved?
How should the physician treat the lesions?
How could Dolores have protected herself?
2- For this week’s discussion, we’ll be listening to podcasts!
Each of the podcast options below seeks to debunk a particular belief, argument, or fad, so in effect they demonstrate strong critical reasoning of the kind we’re applying in this class (imagine that, people being paid to apply and discuss critical reasoning!). Choose any one episode of whichever option you prefer:
Science Vs. – “There are a lot of fads, blogs, and strong opinions, but then there’s SCIENCE. Science Vs. finds out what’s fact, what’s not, and what’s somewhere in between. We do the hard work of sifting through all the science so you don’t have to and cover everything from 5G and pandemics to vaping and fasting diets.”
Maintenance Phase – “debunking the junk science behind health fads, wellness scams and nonsensical nutrition advice.” Note that some of the language may be not be suitable for children, so if that’s a concern you may wish to choose a different option.
If Books Could Kill – a podcast that specializes in debunking popular nonfiction books, i.e. “the airport bestsellers that captured our hearts and ruined our minds.” Note again that some of the language may not be suitable for children.
Debunking Medical Myths – conversations with health professionals dismantling false beliefs about medicine, health, and wellness.
The Skeptics’ Guide to the Universe – “dedicated to promoting critical thinking, reason, and the public understanding of science through online and other media.”
Skeptoid – “The true science behind our most popular urban legends. Historical mysteries, paranormal claims, popular science myths, aliens and UFO reports, conspiracy theories, and worthless alternative medicine schemes … Skeptoid has you covered. From the sublime to the startling, no topic is sacred.”
The Stronger by Science Podcast – “evidence, anecdotes, and incoherent ramblings on training, nutrition, science, and life in general.”
Sawbones: A Marital Tour of Misguided Medicine – “Join Dr. Sydnee McElroy and her husband Justin McElroy for a tour of all the dumb, bad, gross, weird, and wrong ways we’ve tried to fix people.”
Expert Guide to Conspiracy Theories – a special 6-part produced by The Anthill, which is a podcast that specializes in making academic research accessible and engaging. Episodes do not have to be listened to in order – you can choose any one of the following:
Part 1 – How to Spot One
Part 2 – Who Believes Them and Why?
    Part 3 – Their History
Part 4 – How They Spread
Part 5 – How Dangerous Are They?
    Part 6 – Coronavirus
    Initial Post
After listening to your chosen podcast episode, summarize an argument that the podcast seeks to debunk (that is, you’re not summarizing the podcasters’ argument, but the argument that they’re critiquing).
When presenting this argument, you should outline its key points and main conclusions, and provide a general idea about its potential implications or repercussions. However, do not reveal how or why the argument is debunked in the podcast. Your goal here is to present the argument as it would be advocated by its proponents, without any critique or analysis, before the podcasters present their critique. As in some of our recent discussions, your primary goal is to accurately summarize an argument to give your classmates an opportunity to practice their critical reasoning skills.
Note that you do not need to summarize the entire episode – you only need to summarize a single argument, i.e. a single conclusion/claim supported by one or more premises. If you happen to find a suitable argument in the first 10 minutes, hey, you’re done and can just use that! (Though it may still be interesting to listen to the full rest of the episode too).
As an example of what an initial post might look like (note that I made this podcast & episode up, just so you don’t go looking for it):
    Podcast: Debunkers!
    Episode: Debunking Anti-Vaccine Myths
Conclusion: Vaccines are linked to autism, particularly the MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccine.
    Key Premises:
    1. Autism Link: The proponents of this argument often refer to a study published in 1998 in The Lancet, a prestigious medical journal, by a British gastroenterologist, Andrew Wakefield. The study posited a correlation between the MMR vaccine and the onset of autism and bowel disease.
    2. Vaccine Ingredients: Anti-vaccine advocates also argue that vaccines contain harmful substances, such as mercury in the form of thimerosal, which they claim contribute to the development of autism.
    3. Natural Immunity: They also argue that natural immunity — that is, immunity obtained by catching and recovering from a disease — is more effective and safer than vaccine-induced immunity.
    Implications of this Argument:
If valid, this argument would have serious repercussions for public health policies worldwide. It would call into question the safety and efficacy of not just the MMR vaccine, but all vaccines that use similar compounds. This could potentially lead to a decline in vaccination rates, potentially resulting in outbreaks of diseases that were previously controlled or eradicated. It could also lead to widespread skepticism toward the importance of herd immunity in controlling the spread of infectious diseases.

“Creating an Informative and Persuasive Infographic: A Group Project in Visual Communication”

    Instructions
In small groups, students will develop a visual communication project—an infographic—in which they use an image(s) to create a message that meaningfully informs or persuades an audience. The infographic should be like a poster you might see on the wall in a doctor’s office, containing a variety of types of information on a topic.  The topic does not need to be restricted to healthcare.  Be sure to follow APA throughout, treat all copyrighted images as research sources, and cite appropriately. Be sure to address all rubric criteria.
    Required Format and Process
This assignment has two parts: 1) in groups, students will create an infographic (an image or a collection of images combined with text for the purpose of making a statement, illustrating a concept, or describing a process); students should decide early if they are aiming to inform or persuade, and research must inform the project; 2) the group will incorporate appropriate language to support the message to complete their infographic.
Example: To complete this assignment, each group  will: 1) choose a focus and goal (to either inform or persuade); 2) decide on the approach (illustrate process or make an impact); 3) select or create appropriate image(s); 4) conduct relevant research; 5) incorporate appropriate text to support the overall message in a well-designed infographic. Note: any online image must be cited just as text would (groups are free to create their own images for the infographic by using their own creative means, such as photography, drawing, etc.).

“Defining the Boundaries of ‘Fake News’: An Analysis of the Contested Case of Pizzagate”

    Definition Argument Essay Assignment
Goal     Write a 1,500-1,750-word essay using five to seven academic resources in which you argue that a contested “case” fits (or does not fit) within a given category. Follow the directions of your instructor as to what topics are acceptable.
    Directions
Follow these steps when composing your essay:
1.Start by selecting a controversial or contested definitional case.
2.Decide what category you think your case belongs in, with the understanding that others may disagree with you about the definition of your category, and/or whether your chosen case matches your category.
3.In the opening of your essay, introduce the case you will examine and pose your definition question. Do not simply summarize here. Instead, introduce the issue and offer context.
4.To support your argument, define the boundaries of your category (criteria) by using a commonly used definition or by developing your own extended definition. Defining your boundaries simply means naming the criteria by which you will discuss your chosen case.
5.In the second part of your argument (the match), show how your case meets (or does not meet) your definition criteria. Perhaps by comparing or sizing up your controversial case to other cases can help you to develop your argument.
This essay is NOT simply a persuasive essay. It is an argumentative essay where the writer explains what a term means and uses a specific case to explore the meaning of that term in depth.
    First Draft Grading
•You will receive completion points for the first draft based upon the successful submission of a complete draft.
•Because your first draft is a completion grade, do not assume that this grade reflects or predicts the final grade. If you do not consider your instructor’s comments, you may be deducted points on your final draft.
    Final Draft Grading
The essay will be graded using a rubric. Please review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the assignment criteria and expectations.
    Sources
•Include in-text citations and a references page in APA Style for FIVE to SEVEN scholarly sources outside of class texts.
•These sources should be used to support any claims you make and should be present in the text of the essay.
•Use the GCU Library to help you find sources.
•Include this research in the paper in a scholarly manner.
    Format
Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.
    LopesWrite
•You are required to submit this assignment to LopesWrite. A link to the LopesWrite technical support articles is located in Class Resources if you need assistance.
•Please be sure your LopesWrite score is at an acceptable level before submitting the draft to your instructor.

For solution identification read the material at the sites listed in the Week 3 Content Section to help guide you in identifying solutions to the management problem you have identified. Here are some tips to help you create your solutions:
Solutions should focus on the problem, be accepted by the team and be achievable.
Find opportunities to allow the individuals to meet to work out the differences, respectfully. Focus on strategies that can build trust in the relationship.
Look at the tasks that the individuals are responsible for and explore whether they have had adequate training or resources to be successful in performing their tasks (so the solution is to provide additional training and/or mentoring to help your folks be successful).
Evaluate the conditions under which these two work (are they sitting right next to the community coffee pot or the photocopy machine or with poor ventilation or no natural light? Is the environment affecting their behavior?) The solution may be to fix the problem by moving them or making some other change.
Is it financially feasible? Can it be completed in a reasonable time? Can it be done within financial cost structures? What is the return on investment?
If you get stuck in a section, below are some questions to get you unstuck. What are the goals of the company / division / workgroup? Do they align with the mission of the company?
Is there data to substantiate this or is it a perception of the manager?
Who is involved…the manager, the employees, stakeholders?
How long has this problem existed?
What and how are expectations and requirements communicated
When expectations or key deadlines are missed, what happens?
What factors contribute to the problem (politics, structure, decision-making factors)?j
Are technical skills or training contributing to the problem?
Are there ethical issues relating to the problem?
If so, how have those issues been handled to date?
These questions do not all need to be answered nor is this list all-inclusive; they are provided to help you get started and inspire your own questions to explore while completing this assignment.
When relationships experience roadblocks of any sort we can say there is a problem in the relationship. This is true for both personal and professional relationships. When identifying and analyzing potential problems one would start first with the symptoms of the problem. This is sometimes a difficult process as it can be easy to confuse symptoms with the problem. For instance, perhaps as a manager, you are dealing with a lack of acceptable productivity with two of the ten people who work in your area of responsibility. Maybe one of those people is cranky and difficult to work with.
In this case, the problem you need to solve as a manager is one of increasing productivity in your area to an acceptable level. Managers respond to this issue in many ways depending upon their skill, ability, knowledge and maturity. Some managers may transfer some of the work from the two problem employees to some or all the other employees. This solution will, in turn, produce additional symptoms that now are visible in the behavior and productivity level of the other eight employees in addition to the original two employees. You can see that this solution will only continue to affect productivity in a negative manner and never really solves the problem. Therefore, during the problem identification stage, one ought to be certain they are looking at the problem and rather than trying to reduce or eliminate symptoms.
Part 4 should be 2-3 pages discussing the Solution Identification.
Assignment Submission: Submit your final assignment in the assignment tab. Paper lengths depend on your management topic, but typically range from 8 – 10 pages. Submit your paper in a word document, upload to your Week 3 “Identify the Problem” Assignment folder in the classroom. This is due by midnight on Sunday of Week 3.
Your paper should follow APA format 7th Edition and Contain:
    Title Page
    Identifying the Client
    Identifying the Problem
    Conducting a Need Assessment
    Solution Identification
References – a minimum of 4 unique sources none of which can be Wikipedia.
Government Contracting & Acquisition students should review pages 5-6 and pages20-23 of the Contract Management Body of Knowledge (CMBOK) Desktop Pocket Guide for additional guidance.

Title: Exploring the Style, Composition, and Context of “The Persistence of Memory” by Salvador Dali

    .
Choose a work of art from the textbook or presentations and:
Identify the style of the piece – realistic, representational, abstract, or expressionistic. Explain why you think the piece is this style. Indicate whether or not you think the piece could fall under more than one style. Explain.  You may also choose to explore the style in other ways, such as the style of the artist, or the movement or cultural period to which the artist is attached.
Identify the subject if applicable.  If not applicable, be more detailed in your description of the following.
Describe the overall composition (layout) of the piece. Be specific.
Identify at least three of the visual elements of art and how these elements work to enhance the piece.
Does the piece contain underlying or symbolic meanings or themes? (Hint: it probably does, so look hard.) Explain.
Discuss the context in which the piece was created. Remember that context can apply to the era or movement in which the piece was created, the artist who created it and his/her beliefs/values/nationality/upbringing/etc., or how the piece was received critically both at the time and now.  For the purposes of this assignment, please discuss the era in which the piece was created, and if known, any pertinent facts about the artist that relate to the context of the piece.
Using the document “Learning to See”, which you can find in the Reviews module, should help you a great deal.
Use the textbook and presentations only.  You should not need to “research” your chosen work of art other than to, perhaps, look up the subject of the work.   This writing assignment is designed to get you used to using the vocabulary you’ve just learned when you discuss art.

Response to “The Impact of Telehealth on Global Healthcare”

I need a response to a peers discussion post.
    Prompt:
Discuss how telehealth can impact healthcare on a global scale. What are
barriers to this practice? Use evidence-based research to support your
    answer.
    In your
response, it is important to be respectful, make your response
meaningful, and express yourself clearly.    It is a best practice to
not use unsupported personal opinions, generalizations or language that
might be viewed as offensive to others.  If you are trying to extend a
discussion, consider using probing questions.  If providing a
disagreement to a peer post remain respectful, considerate, and maintain
    an academic tone.
    Please respond to this post.
    The
quick access telehealth has to offer is a true gift technology and
medicine combined will continue to assist people in need. I had the
pleasure of reading about an organization called Connecting Kids with
Care that uses telehealth to provide care for pediatric orphans awaiting
adoption, as well as other vulnerable children requiring medical
    attention (Bigg, H., 2018).
Connecting Kids with Care is a non-profit organization where physicians
volunteer their services to children all over the world with
telehealth. Dr. Hugo Bigg along with other volunteer providers have
found working with Connecting Kids with Care to be a very rewarding
experience that continues to provide the practitioners with an
intellectual challenge that does not always present in their practice (Bigg,
H., 2018). The various medical providers perform the volunteer work
from their home or workplace. These practitioners also assist with
preparing the adopting families with the education and social support
they will require to care for a child that has a lot of complications.
These volunteer practitioners are providing care to children based on
medical records composed of charts, photos, scans, and videos that are
    visible with telehealth technology (Bigg,
H., 2018). The providers must also consider that some medical records
are incomplete and must modify their recommendations appropriately. The
volunteer providers appreciate the opportunity to help the children to
live a better life with a loving family. Being able to perform the
visits with telehealth also makes volunteer work for the practitioners
more possible, because they can live their normal lives and even provide
care if they are on vacation. Telehealth will enable all medical
professionals to help people from all over the world with their
    healthcare needs.
