For this assignment, you will develop a realistic clinical case on a topic that is of interest to   you. 
Content Requirements
You will create a realistic case study and include appropriate and pertinent clinical information that will be covering the following:
Subjective data: Chief Complaint; History of the Present Illness (HPI)/ Demographics; History of the Present Illness (HPI) that includes the presenting problem and the 8     dimensions of the problem; Review of Systems (ROS)
Objective data: Medications; Allergies; Past medical history; Family history; Past        surgical history; Social history; Labs; Vital signs; Physical exam.
Assessment: Primary Diagnosis; Differential diagnosis
Plan: Diagnostic testing; Pharmacologic treatment plan; Non-pharmacologic             treatment plan; Anticipatory guidance (primary prevention strategies); Follow up    plan.
Other: Incorporation of current clinical guidelines; Integration of research articles;    Role of the Nurse practitioner
Submission Instructions:
It must be an original work and logically organized, formatted, and cited in the          current APA style, including citation of references.
Incorporate a minimum of 5 current (published within the last five years) scholarly    journal articles or primary legal sources (statutes, court opinions) within your work.  Journal articles and books should be referenced according to APA style (the library has a copy of the APA Manual).

Op-Ed Assignment criteria:
-Like a Magazine. Casual, exciting to read, not traditional academic. 
–  Do not start with “this paper will…”, start with a catchy opening sentence/topic

– Pick a topic on health informatics aka -cyber security, AI (generative, machine learning). Different ways informatics is used in health care like virtual care or social media (Digital technology). Electronic health record (Interoperability, platforms for multiple care settings… as a user, what data collected?). Social issues, politics.. Often done for advocacy for your position and gain attention from the public. 
– Pick a health care problem/issue from the lens of health informatics. 
– Can look at it from a specific perspective like EHR or general like health media/how getting info across over media (example like podcast usage). 
– Take a stance and reflect your views accordingly. 
–  Write a short article in the style of editorial, more conversational, still provide references and cite it (in text and at the end). 
– Shouldn’t look like a traditional academic paper 
– Add a byline at the end— Sonam Prasad, Masters in nursing student, working as a critical care RN, interested in/passionate about/advocate for…  (I can also just edit this part accordingly to personalize it to myself).
