Feedback from the Professor from the original assignment that need correction:
Level 1 headings appear in the center of the page and you need at least 3 of those in the body of the paper. I would also remove the word Objective and the numerical identification from your headings.
It also seems that you cited your Clifton Strengths (which you are supposed to) but you did not list it in your reference page.
Instructions for this assignment- please expand on the content already in the paper. Thanks
To complete this Assessment:
Consider this scenario:
You recently accepted the nurse manager position for a busy emergency department (ED) in a new organization that had 100,000 ED visits last year. These visits represent a 10% increase over the previous year. To meet the needs for staffing required for this sudden growth, the prior nurse manager hired 10 new nursing graduates and 10 nurse travelers that arrived on the unit a few weeks before you came. The breakdown in level of tenure and experience in your staff is: 25% highly tenured in this ED and experienced in this specialty; 25% tenured within the organization and proficient in this specialty; and 30% less than 2 years in the ED /organization and competent in this specialty. The remaining 20% of your staff are the experienced ED nurse travelers and inexperienced new nurses, both groups that are new to the organization.
One of your first new responsibilities as the ED nurse manager is to provide unit-based leadership for the implementation of a new patient tracking system that offers more functionality than the previous tracking system used by this ED for the past 7 years. During the hiring process, you learned that the organization was going to implement this new patient tracking system, and you shared that you had experience in implementing the same system in your previous job.
Write a 2- to 3-page case analysis in which you demonstrate how you, as the leader in the case example provided, would address the following:
Explain how you would provide leadership for the implementation of the new system, including a description of the leadership behaviors that would be most effective to position your staff for success, based on their experience and needs.
Explain how this implementation plan relates to your Clifton Strengths report, including how this leadership situation aligns with or challenges your leadership profile.
Explain your rationale for your choices and appropriately reference literature that supports your thinking.
Explain why your chosen leadership style would be most appropriate over others, referencing literature on leadership styles.
Explain how being able to successfully implement situational leadership better positions you to advocate for social change within your new organization on behalf of the patient population you serve.

Title: An Analysis of the Amish Community Through the Lens of Structural Functionalism
Your assignment this semester is to perform an analysis of one of the groups we have studied
from the viewpoint of one or more of the theorists and theories I have introduced this session.
The material for your analysis is to be derived from the PowerPoints, films, lectures, and
independent research.
First, I want a brief, approximately half-page synopsis of the society, institution, culture, belief
system, behavior on which you are going to focus. Next, I want you to analyze one piece of the
political, social , economic, and cultural puzzle that is a society from one or two of the
theoretical viewpoints discussed in the course. Any of the groups that we have studied is
acceptable as a topic. Your analysis must contain data from the lectures, films, text, and from
your own independent research. In this assignment, simply agreeing with the interpretations
of the professor is insufficient. You will need to expand your argument beyond the scope of
the material presented in the course. Your analysis is expected to be unique. You will not
receive a low grade if I disagree with you.
The assignment should be a minimum of approximately three pages of double-spaced type and a
maximum of five pages. Intelligent analysis, careful, writing, and good grammar are the basis
for your grade. -

Memo: Budget Preparation Instructions for Employees To: All Employees From: [Your Name], Manager Date: [Date] Subject: Instructions for Budget Preparation As we begin the budget preparation process for the upcoming fiscal year, I would like
This week I want you to draft a memo to your employees. The reading this week discussed planning and researching as well as writing reports and proposals. We are going to apply this knowledge to budget preparation. Please read chapter 1 and 2 in Budgeting Basics and Beyond. These 2 chapters will give you a great foundation as to what makes a good budget. For this assignment, please assume that you are a manager in the company of your choosing. You need your staff to help you gather the information that you need to create the budget that will be presented to executives for approval. This link will assist you in formatting your memo.
I do not expect you to submit an actual budget to me, this is an exercise in providing good instruction to your employees. The better your instructions, the more accurate their response. Please keep in mind that in providing good instruction, you will also need to provide some background information as to what you will be using this information for and why. Provide APA formatted citations for any information that you use from any sources. -

Title: Sustainable Initiative Proposal for a Local Hospital Introduction: The health care industry is one of the largest contributors to environmental pollution and waste. In order to promote sustainability and reduce costs, it is important for health care organizations to implement sustainable initiatives.
Assignment Content
Select a health care setting and organization on which you will focus for your sustainability initiative (e.g., local hospital, veterans’ hospital, ambulance service, urgent care, nursing home).
Analyze the setting and organization you have selected and break it down to the main departments, employee roles, operating activities, and so on. While doing so, brainstorm opportunities to reduce costs or eliminate waste while improving patient care or outcomes.
Review the list of sustainable initiatives from the list below, and select one that you want to promote for your selected organization:
Energy efficiency
Lighting
IR scanning
Cogeneration
Kanban Inventory
Device exchange
CR pack reformation
Device reprocessing
Red bag waste reduction
Blue wrap recycling
Note: Ensure that the opportunity you select correlates with the setting you select. Additionally, if you want to complete a sustainable initiative that is not on the list, obtain approval from your instructor before completing the assignment.
Identify data sources you might need to collect and analyze for your initiative. Consider contacting people in the industry and in your organization who may be able to help.
Write a 525- to 700-word summary of the sustainability initiative you want to promote at the health care setting you selected. Your proposal should:
Create a clear vision or mission statement that defines the scope of the initiative and would generate buy-in.
Define what outcomes you expect to achieve over time.
Be specific with what you can realistically deliver. -

Title: Understanding Unemployment, GDP, and Labor Force Participation in Macroeconomics Unemployment and Retirement Planning Total Employed: 2 Total Unemployed: 1 Total Not in Labor Force: 1 Unemployment Rate: 33.33% Employment to Population Rate: 50% Labor Force Participation
MACRO-Economics: This has two parts
PART ONE: Below are two graphs showing unemployment and GDP growth data. The gray areas show time periods when the United States experienced recessions. Look at the graphs above and answer the following questions using complete sentences. Make sure to number your responses. Unemployment Data Graph & FRED GDP Growth Graph1 attached as screenshot.
What happens to the unemployment rate when there is a recessionary period? (2 points)
What happens to GDP in recessionary periods? (2 points)
Approximately how much did the unemployment rate change during the Great Recession (2008-2009)? (2 points)
Approximately how much did GDP growth dip during the Great Recession (2008 – 2009)? (2 points)
In September 2008 the CPI was approximately 219 and in March 2009 the CPI was approximately 212. Does this indicate that the great recession was a result of decreasing Aggregate Demand or decreasing Short-Run Aggregate Supply? (2 points) Hint: Draw yourself an AD/AS graph and then see which line shifting to the left causes the price level to decrease. PART Two: GO TO -˃ https://www.crfb.org/debtfixer and play it. Take a screenshot of your final results. You should find them on the right hand side of the final page. Now you are ready to complete the assignment:
1. Post the screenshot of your results? (2 points)
2. What was your goal for the simulation? (2 points)
3. What were the guiding principles you used when making your choices? (2 points)

5. How did completing this simulation change the way you think about the things government should provide given the constraints of tax revenues? (2 points)
PART THREE: Below you will find a list of individuals. Your task is to sort individuals into three categories: employed (E), unemployed (U), and not in the labor force (N). You will do this by reading desсrіptions of the individuals and assigning them the definitions of unemployed, employed, or not in the labor force. In some cases, you may not be sure, but make your best guess based on the available information.
As a reminder, here are the definitions:
Employed: The individual has a full-time or part-time paid job; this can include self-employment. Individuals who are employed are considered to be in the labor force.
Unemployed: The individual does not have a job but has looked for a job sometime in the past 4 weeks. Individuals who are unemployed are considered to be in the labor force because they have been recently looking for work.
Not in the Labor Force: Neither employed nor unemployed. The individual does not have a job and has not
looked for work in the past four weeks.
Chen: Works for the county government, managing finances. Susanna: Takes college classes full-time and waits tables part-time at a restaurant in the evenings.
Edward: Retired and does volunteer work on Sundays. Muhammad: Was laid off in the last recession and gave up looking for work; has not looked for 2 months.
Rosa: Recently left a job because of a move and is applying for a similar job in her new city. Alex: Has a disability that impacts his ability to work. He is not currently employed or looking for a job. Samra: Teaches high school chemistry. Javier: Quit a job he hated and posted his resume on a job search Web site 2 weeks ago. Yuki: Lost a job in manufacturing and is in school, retraining for a different career. Casey: Recently graduated and attends job fairs. Kazim: Has a part-time job as a personal trainer but would like to work more hours. Eun-Mi: Has several part-time jobs: hand model, web site designer, and consultant. Taylor: Stays at home full time to take care of children. Mandeep: Runs his own business, catering corporate events. Gustavo: Quit his stockbroker job and is traveling the world for a year to “find himself.” Alice: Would like a job but gave up looking because of a bad job market. The last job application she submitted was 3 weeks ago.
Wei: Retired air force veteran; likes knitting. Stephen: Was laid off and does not expect to be called back to work. He has looked for other jobs to be safe.
Min-Su: Human resources manager at a law firm. Amita: Works as a police officer in Los Angeles County. Use this data to calculate the unemployment rate, employment-to-population ratio, and labor force participation rate. Unemployment rate = # unemployed / labor force × 100
Employment-to-population ratio = # employed / total population × 100
Labor force participation rate = labor force / total population × 100
Submit IN THIS FORMAT. (Copy and Paste and then fill in): Total Employed: ______
Total Unemployed: ______
Total Not in Labor Force: ______
Unemployment Rate: ______
Employment to Population Rate: _____
Labor Force Participation Rate: ______
I would be classified as ___________________ because I ________________________________. Grading Guidelines: You will receive 1 point each for the first 3 blanks. You will receive 2 points each for the three employment statistic calculations. These must be correct based on your prior numbers to receive credit. You will receive 1 point for your personal statement of your employment status and explanation. Part FOUR: Use this calculator -˃ https://www.nerdwallet.com/investing/roth-ira-calculator to calculate how much money you would have if you invest $6500 each year in a Roth IRA versus an account with no tax advantages. Use the following parameters:
Age: 22
Income: $45,000
Starting Balance: $0 Marital Status: Single
This calculator assumes a 6% rate of return. Keep in mind the reason you are seeing such different dollar amounts is that with a RothIRA you don′t have to pay tax on the money babies that your investment creates over the years and with a taxable investment, you do. When you are done, take a screenshot or upload your results as this is needed for completion
