I’m writing this essay on the book “There There” by Tommy Orange. I really need someone who has read the book and is familiar with it. Use the quotes from the outline and explan them as simple. We should ban single-use plastic water bottles. Developed:
We should ban single-use plastic water bottles because plastic is not biodegradable; in addition, the bottles contain BPAs, which are highly toxic to humans. Finally, the bottles find their way into the world’s water systems, particularly oceans, where these bottles have formed a “plastic tide” hundreds of miles long. Others, however, argue that the bottles are convenient and should be continued. Claims:

3. Justifications and Claims
Overview: Requirements and Guidelines
Choose any film (a feature-length, short, or animated work) and write a 6 to 8 page (note: 6 FULL is ABSOLUTE MINIMUM, so aim for 7 pages) evaluative analysis of your subject using any combination of the critical strategies discussed in this class, such as the issue, conclusions, and reasons you feel are presented in the movie.  
The paper should demonstrate your ability to balance close textual analysis with MLA-style research on a broader topic supported by the text, or movie in this case, under analysis. Your thesis should forward an arguable interpretation and evaluation of the movies’s positive or negative value or impact, skill effectiveness or not, or significance or lack of significance,  according to the criteria of any of the critical strategies covered so far. 
Find some main, arguable point you will make about the movie, and then prove that point.  Remember that words like “shows” and “displays” are summative words, not evaluative.  You must continue to go beyond mere summary by displaying analytically critical judgement.  Yes, that’s right, you must logically argue, based on analytic evidence, in favor of your educated opinion.
Whatever you do, you must make a judgement, an evaluation, which you express clearly in your thesis and then prove through your critical analysis and logical presentation of evidentiary details and examples.
Guidelines
Your essay should:
Have a compelling, original title.
Put forward a thesis that asserts an arguable evaluative claim about the text based on any of the critical strategies we have discussed.
Include at least four reliable, scholarly or professional sources that support your observations/analysis about the text.
Be 6 1/2 – 8 pages in length, submitted in MLA format with in-text citations and a separate Works Cited page.

These are just examples. If you want to talk about issues and conclusions in a fictional movie, that’s fine, too.
Analyze, Don’t Summarize
Remember, this paper is not about summary. It is about analysis and critical judgement and evaluation. Figure out your evaluative thesis, and conduct an argument by using specific examples and analysis of the examples to show supportive evidence to prove your thesis. Having a clear judgement – an evaluative thesis – will help you stay on track because it provides the purpose of the paper, namely prove the thesis!

For RJ3, you will select a passage (somewhere between one to three sentences) from either of the final two chapters of Frankenstein to analyze. You should select a passage that resonates with you. It is important that you pick a passage that speaks to you rather than one you think will impress me.

RJ3 will include two parts:

Your analysis should be 3-4 paragraphs in length.
You do not need to introduce or summarize any part of the text.
You should not include any first/second persons or banned words.
There should be NO quotes from the text (everything should be analyzed in your own words).
You must analyze the importance of the passage within the part of the story that the passage appears in and in the context of the larger scope of the story.

Personal Reflection
This is where you can use the first person (but NO second person).
Must only be a single paragraph.

PLEASE make sure that your title is DESCRIPTIVE.
Using the author’s name and THEIR TITLE is not acceptable; it is THEIR WORK so YOUR title cannot be someone else’s title
No banned words.
You will analyze in your own words, and you will not use any quotations at all.
You will NOT include your opinions or biases in the analysis.

1. Incomplete Report. The Works Cited page needs to be its own page after the conclusion. After that, you need a list of all the poems that you read for the report (you were supposed to read several). After that, I want copies of poems that you analyzed inside the report (these are called “inside sources.” Remove the “My Favorite Poem”–that’s not the assignment. 
2. Works Cited page:
a. You need hanging indentation for the two entries/citations.
b. Remove n.d from the first entry
c. Article titles require quotation marks around them.
d. Check your current MLA–your entries are not quite right. 
3. I don’t think that an obituary is a good choice for any source in this assignment. I recommend that you remove this and find a better source. 
5. Intro: It’s too long. Please cut this down. 
6. Intro: You must include one in-text citation at the tail end of the introduction that follows MLA Guidelines. 
7. You are missing the assigned body paragraph. See assignment 
8. Remove the random words Literary Criticism. 
9. The Poetry Archive source literally is titled “Biography” so this will not work as a literary criticism source. You will need to find a new source and borrow something else…you might need to write a new conclusion, in fact. Having already helped others with this poet, she was difficult to find quality sources, so I totally understand where you might have had some difficulty.
